Rockingham Peel Group provides hospital and community-based public healthcare services to a growing population of more than 200,000 people across Perth’s southern metropolitan region. At the heart of the Group is the 229-bed Rockingham General Hospital, which offers a comprehensive range of services including emergency care, acute and general medicine, surgery, mental health, paediatrics, neonatal care and maternity services. The Group includes the Mandurah and Kwinana Community Health Centres, delivering a broad range of health promotion, disease prevention and community health programs to support the wellbeing of individuals and families across the region.

Peel Health Campus transitioned to South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) in August 2024, marking the beginning of an exciting new era for healthcare in the Peel-Murray region. The transition has enabled significant investment in the future of local health services, including plans for a new purpose-built public hospital on the existing site. Alongside the 192-bed Peel Health Campus, the Group includes Murray District Hospital, which provides inpatient medical, palliative care and allied health services. Together, these facilities support the delivery of high-quality care closer to home. The planned redevelopment will expand services, modernise facilities and improve access to healthcare for the growing Peel-Murray community.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is an 863-bed tertiary and quaternary hospital providing a broad range of specialised healthcare services. These include the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, dedicated mental health facilities, maternity, paediatric and neonatal care, as well as the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers highly specialised treatments such as heart and lung transplantation and hyperbaric medicine.

Adjacent to the hospital, the FSH Medihotel operates within the Aegis Health Building and provides an innovative extension of FSH healthcare services, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
