The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to guide access and inclusion governance across the organisation and broader Transport and Major Infrastructure Portfolio. This is a meaningful opportunity to influence policy, planning and reporting that supports equitable outcomes for people across WA.

In this role you will:
- Lead access and inclusion governance, policy, planning and reporting across DTMI and the broader Transport and Major Infrastructure Portfolio.
- Provide strategic advice on access and inclusion risks, opportunities, legislative obligations and whole-of-government commitments.
- Coordinate reporting for governance committees, corporate planning cycles and portfolio-wide requirements.
- Prepare high-quality reports, briefings and presentations for executive and external stakeholder audiences.
- Act as Executive Officer to DTMI’s Access and Inclusion Committee.
- Represent DTMI in relevant interagency, sector and community forums.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthenaccess and inclusion.
- Coach and mentor team members to build capability in access and inclusion governance, policy and practice.
We are looking for someone who can bring:
- Considerable experience in access and inclusion and/or corporate governance within a complex organisation.
- Strong experience managing complex and concurrent work programs.
- Highly developed research, analytical and conceptual skills.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare complex reports and policy documents.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and partnerships.
- A genuine commitment to access, inclusion, equity and continuous improvement.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Policy Development, Social Sciences or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
