This is a 3 month fixed term, part-time (0.2 FTE) position commencing as soon as possible, with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency

Canning Vale Primary School (CVPS) is a vibrant school located in the heart of Livingston. We have a very welcoming atmosphere with courtesy and mutual respect demonstrated by students and staff.

The Role

The successful applicant should provide support to develop, implement and manage the school’s marketing plan whilst assisting with the development and production of a range of printed and online materials to support marketing activities and events for the school whilst assisting with editing and sub-editing publications and news media communications to ensure Departmental policies and guidelines are adhered to. The successful applicant will ideally assist with coordinating school events and activities, assisting with the preparation of submissions and various awards.

The successful applicant should gather and publish news items, photographs and videos adhering to the school’s marketing plan and the Department’s communication standards whilst assisting the school executive team to coordinate internal and external school communication activities. The successful applicant will ideally maintain and update the school’s website, software applications and social media, ensuring published content is current, relevant and that associated links are active whilst maintaining knowledge of current trends related to web design, technologies, and online mediums. The successful applicant should assist the school executive team to maintain the school’s brand and style guide to be consistent with the Department’s priorities and values whilst providing administration support to the school executive team and providing support to corporate services team.
