About the team/business unit

The Spatial program is designed to deliver a whole of government Advanced Spatial Digital Twin for the State. It will enable agencies to access, share and use spatial and non-spatial data with advanced capabilities for visualisation, analytics, predictive modelling, and digital workflows, to improve collaboration and decision making across government. The program is complex and will be delivered in a dynamic and fast-paced project environment, working with key agencies across the sector to deliver the outcomes needed for the State.

About the role 

Landgate, as the delivery agency for Spatial WA, is seeking a Commercial Business Analyst to identify, measure, and report on the benefits of the Spatial WA Program. The ideal candidate will have experience in consulting with stakeholders to develop, measure, and report on program benefits. They should be engaging, possess a focused business improvement mindset, be analytical, and have a passion for working with uncertainty to bring clarity to complex processes and how to measure impact. Additionally, experience in tracking and forecasting program financial expenditure is necessary to ensure the project stays within budget and meets financial goals.

  • Align to the WA Government ICT Benefits Realisation Management Framework. (ICT Benefits Realisation Framework)
  • Implement a benefits realisation plan for a whole of Government program.
  • Identify, measure, and report on the benefits for how Spatial WA will deliver for WA Government.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to track impact on cost (financial), effort (time) and resources (people) through the implementation of Spatial WA
  • Gain exposure to diverse stakeholders and solving government challenges.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of working rosters—allowing up to 50% per fortnight working from home.

  • Previous experience in developing, measuring and reporting project benefits.
  • Ability to independently engage, built rapport and work with stakeholders to determine metrics and methods to capture and report benefits.
  • Experience in tracking and forecasting project financial expenditure.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with an ability to work independently and be adaptable in a complex and dynamic environment.
