About Office of Director General
The Office of the Director General team provides strategic portfolio coordination and communication of key strategic issues across the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport and between multiple Ministers’ offices. It supports the Director General by providing confidential, efficient and effective administrative executive support.
About the role
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for integrity, ethical governance, and public sector accountability? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Integrity function and drive a culture of transparency, trust, and ethical conduct across the organisation.
As Director Integrity, you will lead and oversee key integrity functions including misconduct assessments, conflict of interest management, reportable conduct, secondary employment, and corruption prevention. You will drive the development of strategic policies, frameworks, and education initiatives that promote ethical behaviour and ensure compliance with legislation and public sector standards. This senior leadership role requires sound judgement, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a deep understanding of integrity principles within the public sector.
We are looking for individuals with:
- Extensive experience in integrity, governance, or misconduct assessment roles.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including public sector misconduct and corruption frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex integrity functions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
We have one permanent, full time (75hrs p/f) position available.
