The Creative Industries team supports a thriving WA arts and cultural sector and promotes participation and achievement in culture and the arts. The team works to highlight the social and economic benefits to the community from the creation of, and engagement in, high-quality arts experiences, including increased wellbeing and connection. We support these activities through grants and investment programs, research and policy development. Through recognising the importance of sharing Western Australia’s unique stories and cultures, including those of First Nations peoples, we make our communities richer, more vibrant and more engaged. 

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced person to fill the position of Policy and Partnership Officer - Creative Learning. As Policy and Partnership Officer – Creative Learning, you will coordinate, manage, monitor and deliver strategic grant projects and programs in CITS’ Creative Industries division and the creative learning sector. In this role you will provide support to the Industry Partnerships and Development Team to achieve these results, while providing research, advice and information to inform CITS’ policies and programs. This role works to promote strong relationships in the sector by building capacity, supporting applicants with their projects and promoting funding opportunities. Ideal candidates will bring with them:

  • Experience working within the arts, culture and creative learning sector
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and the delivery of strategic programs.
  • Ability to research and disseminate information from a variety of stakeholders
  • Candidates with sector knowledge in Culture and the Arts, Education and working with young people are strongly encouraged to apply.

We have one fixed term, full time (75hrs p/f) position available with the possibility of subsequent contracts and/or permanency.
