This position is part of a team in the Workforce Policy and Diversity Division that is passionate about building the human resources capability of staff across the sector.

The team delivers exciting initiatives that enable more efficient and effective management of the WA public sector workforce.

The team is looking for someone who is enthusiastic about workforce policy and practice and enjoys helping agencies navigate complex workforce matters. In this role, you'll help shape workforce practice across government by providing expert advice and contributing to initiatives that support a capable and effective public sector workforce.

You will be part of a small, collaborative team that serves as the first point of contact for agency workforce practice enquiries, providing high-quality advice and support on workforce policies and legislation. You will undertake research, analyse workforce information, contribute to policy and guidance development, and deliver projects that support effective workforce management across the public sector.

We're seeking a curious and capable problem solver with strong research and communication skills. You'll be comfortable building relationships, analysing information, and turning complex issues into practical advice and solutions.
