Support student wellbeing by providing early intervention, crisis response and referral services across NMTAFE. There are 2 temporary opportunities until 31 December 2028, with possibility of further term and/or permanency.

About You
As a Wellbeing Officer, you will provide proactive and responsive wellbeing support to students across multiple campuses, promoting safety, inclusion and engagement through early intervention, crisis response and coordinated support. Working closely with students, lecturers, internal support teams and external service providers, you will assess wellbeing needs, facilitate appropriate referrals and help students navigate barriers that impact their learning and participation.

You will have experience supporting individuals experiencing mental health and wellbeing concerns, including responding to crisis situations and complex support needs. With strong communication and relationship-building skills, you will work collaboratively to develop practical support strategies, assist staff in managing student wellbeing concerns and contribute to a safe, inclusive and student-centred learning environment

There is an option to accrue an additional two weeks leave each year on top of your standard four weeks annual leave.
