The Role

Suitable applicants will ideally be passionate, motivated and skilled educators who are committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes across all learning areas, while recognising that social and emotional learning and wellbeing are fundamental to academic success. They will embrace our whole-school approaches, use evidence-based teaching strategies and maintain high expectations of students while creating engaging, inclusive learning environments where students feel safe, connected, valued and able to thrive.

Applicants should display excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and contribute positively to a school culture where every student experiences a strong sense of belonging and is supported to develop the social and emotional skills required for lifelong success.

Applicants will have the knowledge and skills to teach across multiple learning areas and confidently use multi-age group planning strategies. They will embrace innovative approaches to learning and be committed to reflective practice, collaboration and the effective use of student achievement and wellbeing data to inform teaching. Guided by our Agreed Approach and 2023–2027 Business Plan, staff work collaboratively through fortnightly Professional Learning Communities, using Action Learning Models to analyse evidence, strengthen teaching practice and continually improve outcomes for every student.

Suitable applicants should display exemplary, evidence-based teaching practices that promote strong levels of student engagement, achievement, wellbeing and growth. They will be skilled in differentiating learning to meet diverse student needs through high-quality lesson design, responsive teaching and innovative program delivery. Applicants will recognise the interconnectedness of academic learning and social and emotional development, intentionally providing opportunities for students to develop self-awareness, self-management, positive relationships, responsible decision-making and resilience alongside strong academic outcomes.
