This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027 with possible extension and/or permanency

The Role
The successful applicant should deliver the Science curriculum in a way that promotes strong student engagement, progress, and achievement. We are seeking a teacher who models evidence based planning and instructional practice to support the learning needs of all students. The Teacher – Science, should support the development of programs that enhance 21st century learning. In addition, the successful applicant should be motivated to work within a team environment and embrace the positive and collegiate culture within the learning area.
The successful applicant will ideally be committed to supporting the development of programs that are relevant, engaging and cater for the learning of all students. The Teacher – Science, should work collaboratively with all staff and the broader school community to create conditions where high expectations and high-quality teaching thrive. The successful applicant would support the development of positive social relationships and utilise the flexible learning spaces within our learning environment to personalise learning for students in creating an environment which fosters curiosity, enhances creativity and promotes critical thinking.
