We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The School
Armadale Primary School (PS) is a Public Independent School which is located in the foothills of Armadale, 28km south-east of Perth CBD and caters for children in Kindergarten to Year 6. At Armadale PS our specialist and highly qualified, motivated and experienced teachers and education assistants work as a unified team to offer the very best educational opportunities for its 429 students.
The schools architecturally designed brick buildings are built on nine levels and surrounded by picturesque natural bushland. Outside playgrounds offer students a physical challenge and have shade protection. The Role
Suitable applicants should have the capacity to work effectively within a collaborative professional learning community. They will ideally engage purposefully in shared planning, resource development, professional dialogue and moderation processes, contributing to consistent classroom practice across the school and reduced variation across year-level cohorts.
They will also ideally possess a strong instructional skill set and a sound understanding of effective lesson design, aligned with the Department of Education’s Teaching for Impact approach. Applicants should have the ability to deliver explicit, direct instruction, supported by daily review, clear learning intentions and success criteria. Through regular checks for understanding, timely feedback and reflective practice, they will support students to understand what they are learning, how successfully they are learning, and the next steps required to move their learning forward.
Familiarity with programs such as Talk for Writing, PLD Spelling and Maths Hero would be highly regarded.
Suitable applicants should be data-informed in their practice and have the ability to differentiate learning to cater for a wide range of academic, social and emotional needs. The ability to work closely and effectively with Education Assistants would be very beneficial.
