This is a permanent part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026

North Beach Primary School is about making a difference for all our students through the delivery of a contemporary curriculum and evidenced based pedagogy. With a strong pastoral care approach built on positive relationships, we focus on the whole child in order for our students to grow and reach their individual potential.

With an enrolment of close to 400 students, it serves a coastal strip which includes the suburbs of Trigg, Watermans Bay and North Beach. The Role

The successful applicant will teach Music across a range of year levels from Year 1 to Year 6. The ideal applicant should have sound classroom management, have diverse instrument experience, can develop rapport and engage students, can differentiate curriculum to cater for individual student needs, and can practise a range of teaching strategies are encouraged to apply.

Experience in establishing a school band and choir, organising participation in school events, coordinating IMSS program and external activities including one big voice, WA Government Schools Make Music Program and conducting whole school performances is highly desirable.

  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
