The Role

Collaboration is central to the way you work. We value strong professional partnerships - teachers working together, sharing expertise, and supporting one another to improve student outcomes. Applicants should be flexible, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Building meaningful connections with parents and carers is also a key part of the role. We view families as vital partners in education and encourage open, respectful communication to support the learning and wellbeing of every student.
Treendale PS is entering an exciting new chapter as we implement our new Business Plan following our recent Public School Review. Our teaching and learning priorities are closely aligned with the Department of Education’s Teaching for Impact framework, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practice across all classrooms. We also highly value our ongoing journey in developing a strong Early Childhood Education (ECE) approach, recognising the importance of laying strong foundations in the early years.
Suitable applicants will bring not only teaching expertise but also personal attributes that enrich our school community. We are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal acumen, resilience, self-awareness, a drive to excel, trustworthiness, openness, and a strong capacity for learning. These qualities are essential in a teacher who seeks to inspire students, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the positive, forward-thinking culture at Treendale PS.
