This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027

The Role

Rockingham SHS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Home Economics Teacher with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating positive learning experiences. The successful applicant should display a commitment to promoting Home Economics education, fostering student engagement and creating a supportive environment where achievement and success are celebrated.

Experience teaching across a range of Home Economics subject areas and delivering Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs will be highly regarded. While a Certificate II in Hospitality and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are desirable, we welcome applications from teachers with a range of relevant experience, skills and qualifications. Applicants who do not currently hold these certificates are encouraged to apply and display the knowledge, experience and capacity they would bring to the Home Economics learning area. The successful applicant should also bring professionalism, a collaborative approach and a willingness to contribute positively within and beyond the school community.
