About the role
Oversee Landgate’s financial accounting operations, reporting, performance analysis, controls, and policy functions.
Lead experienced financial accounting officers in a multi-disciplinary Financial Accounting Team in production of reports and administration of financial information systems.
Drive Landgate’s financial reporting including project accounting for complex Asset Investment Plan and non-asset ICT delivery programs.
Support administration of Landgate’s Partial Commercialisation arrangement, dividend, tax equivalent requirements and commercial functions, balanced with general government funded activities, and obligations.
Contribute to planning, strategy and Landgate’s finance direction as part of the Finance Leadership team.

Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting and current professional membership with CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, or an equivalent recognised overseas professional accounting body.
- Proven experience leading and developing finance and accounting teams to deliver high-quality financial services, reporting and business outcomes.
- Significant experience interpreting and applying accounting standards, taxation laws, legislation and other relevant guidelines, and using financial analysis to provide strategic advice that supports organisational performance and decision-making.
- Significant experience preparing and overseeing complex financial reporting within a government or commercial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain financial integrity across an organisation through effective financial governance, controls, financial management systems and assurance practices.
While not essential, it’s desirable if you can demonstrate:
- Substantial quality and duration of Government trading enterprise (or Statutory Authority) experience in financial accounting delivery and management.
- Relevant experience managing transaction delivery and compliant financial reporting experience in Government or Commercial context.

Permanent role: This is a full time permanent position, however part time arrangements may be considered. Further offers may be made as other similar (permanent or fixed term) role arise
