About the role
At PTA, information is created, shared and relied upon every day to support critical services and inform decision-making. As our Senior Information Governance Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring that information across the organisation is managed responsibly, securely and in accordance with legislative and governance requirements.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will turn information governance principles into practical outcomes. From providing expert advice on governance, compliance, privacy and records management, to supporting information management initiatives and improving business processes, your work will help strengthen information management practices across the agency. You will support teams to understand their responsibilities, embed best-practice approaches, and ensure the effective management of information across platforms such as corporate systems. Along the way, you will build strong relationships, facilitate collaboration, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in information and records management, governance or compliance within a large and complex organisation. You will have a strong understanding of information management legislation, standards and frameworks, coupled with effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills. If you are passionate about helping organisations manage information properly, reducing risk, and fostering good governance practices across modern digital workplaces, we would love to hear from you.
About You!

- Experience in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating frameworks, tools, and processes in information governance within specified timeframes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Studies or other relevant disciplines would be highly regarded.
