What is the Role?

The ERA is seeking a Senior Information and Digital Services Officer to join us on a permanent basis within the Corporate Services team.

The Senior Information and Digital Services Officer supports the delivery and continuous improvement of information management, digital systems and technology services across the Economic Regulation Authority. The role coordinates records and information management activities, supports cyber security and information governance initiatives, and provides advice on information management systems, Microsoft 365 technologies, reporting and business applications.

The position contributes to digital and business improvement initiatives, including technology-enabled change, automation and reporting solutions, and works closely with business areas, service providers and external stakeholders to improve organisational capability, compliance and service delivery. The role also supports the development of reports, dashboards and business information to assist decision-making across the organisation.

The successful applicant will bring experience in records and information management, information governance, digital systems and Microsoft 365 technologies, together with strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The role provides leadership, direction and development to the Records and Information Management Coordinator and supports the Manager Information Technology in delivering information and technology services across the ERA.
