The Role

Shenton College is seeking a proactive, highly-organised and customer-focused School Officer to join our collaborative and dedicated team. Our team of School Officers play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the College, delivering exceptional service across a range of administrative functions and contributing to a positive experience for students, staff, parents, and the wider community.

The successful applicant will ideally bring strong administrative capability and the ability to manage a diverse range of operational responsibilities with accuracy, professionalism and initiative. Responsibilities may include maintaining records and databases, supporting student and staff administration, enrolments, attendance and reporting, finance and procurement activities, occupational health and safety processes, and the coordination and management of the College’s physical assets and resources.

Experience working in a school or similarly complex administrative environment will be highly regarded. You should be highly organised and display the ability to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines and respond effectively to changing operational requirements. A commitment to accuracy, continuous learning and working within Department of Education policies, procedures and guidelines is advantageous.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are highly desirable, with the ability to build positive relationships and liaise effectively with students, staff, parents and the wider College community. You would be committed to delivering responsive, professional and customer-focused service while maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgement.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is essential. Experience with school-based administration systems, such as RM Billing, RM Finance, Integris and Compass, will be highly regarded. Equally important is your ability and willingness to quickly learn and confidently navigate new systems and technologies.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team that plays a key role in the success of our College community.
