We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Wanneroo Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School situated in the North Metropolitan Education District. The school caters to 400 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and has a long and positive history with its local surrounds, being established in 1899.
At Wanneroo PS the focus is on providing an environment where students are supported to achieve and successes are celebrated.

The Role
The School Officer (Level 2) plays an important role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the school’s administrative and financial functions. Working under the direction of the Manager Corporate Services, you would complete a range of administrative duties and provide accurate advice and support to parents, students, staff and community members. Using your strong communication skills, you will ideally help create a welcoming and professional front office environment while contributing to the daily operations of the school.
Within the parameters set by the school administration team, you should maintain school databases, records and management information systems to ensure they are accurate, secure and up to date. The role may include supporting financial processes, preparing school communications and materials, coordinating maintenance requests and assisting with student enrolment and related documentation.
The ideal applicants will be calm, organised and professional with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with all stakeholders. They will display strong organisational skills, ability to multitask and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Confidentiality, attention to detail, initiative and the ability to problem solve are highly desirable in this position.
Suitable applicants will ideally have experience working in a busy school office, a confident phone manner and a friendly, positive attitude. A good working knowledge of the Student Information System (SIS) and Kaartdijin (Compass) and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are highly regarded.

- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
