At Sheoak Grove Primary School (PS) our students shine and grow in every aspect of their school lives in a supportive, connected community. Welcoming children in Kindergarten to Year 6, we are dedicated to providing children with the best educational opportunities in a nurturing environment. We're located on Nyilla Approach in Baldivis, and since our opening in 2020 as an Independent Public School, we've had the exciting opportunity to build a new positive community in one of Perth's fastest growing areas.

The Role
The School Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of the school. This includes tasks such as undertaking account and GST coding, reconciling financial records and processing invoices. School Officers also assist with month-end procedures such as transporting receipts to the bank and maintaining data integrity. They will be responsible for collating figures for financial planning and budgeting, which will help the school make informed decisions about its resources.
In addition, the School Officer will assist with school communications, including preparing newsletters. Knowledge of, or experience with, school enrolment processes and requirements would be an advantage. Flexibility is highly regarded, as duties and priorities may change in response to the evolving needs of the school.
The School Officer will also assist with the management of school assets. This includes overseeing the administration of out-of-hours use of school facilities, coordinating and negotiating maintenance and repairs, and maintaining key registers and security system codes. They will assist with the induction and support of administrative school support staff, by developing induction programs and materials and coordinating relief staff.
