This is a Permanent Full Time appointment.
What is our Project Officer role?
The successful applicant will assist with the development, management and delivery of strategic projects across Public Health to support the achievement of the Public Health and Clinical Excellence organisational goals. This includes:
- Liaising with Aboriginal community, health professionals, government and nongovernment
service providers, on issues relating to the health and welfare of Aboriginal
patients in Perth metropolitan region. - Developing, planning and delivering culturally appropriate Aboriginal Public Health Services to the Aboriginal Community.

- A Cover Letter (max 3 pages) explaining why you are applying for this role and providing examples to demonstrate your knowledge, experience and skills in the areas of:
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal family structures, culture and customs and its impact on health outcomes for Aboriginal people and their communities.
- Considerable experience in planning, managing and evaluating projects.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to develop collaborative partnerships.
- A detailed Resume which sets out your qualifications, capabilities and experience relevant to this position.
- References - the names and contact details of two (2) referees. It is preferable for one of your referees to have been a recent supervisor.
Applicants must ensure their nominated referees are available to provide references when requested, as failure to do so may result in them being deemed unsuitable.
Eligibility to Apply: To be suitable for appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia.

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
