Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other ‘similar’ vacancies within DOH and/or the wider WA public sector. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profiles:  

Program Manager – Strategic Projects

The Program Manager leads and manages a team to deliver a portfolio of strategic, highly complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives within the Digital Health Division. This may include coordination of team resources to provide additional support to other interdependent deliverables across the Division.

This role provides end-to-end leadership across program initiation, planning, development, delivery, and benefits realisation, ensuring activities are executed on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with approved business cases or program schedules. The Program Manager is accountable for team leadership, program governance, overseeing financial, risk and issue management, to ensure successful delivery, benefits realisation, and strategic alignment with divisional, organisational and broader government objectives.

The Program Manager leads and manages a portfolio of strategic, highly complex, multi-disciplinary programs and initiatives in the Digital Health Division.
