The Role

Ideally, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic leader to join the leadership team as Program Coordinator – Student Services. As a key member of the Schools Leadership Team, the Program Coordinator – Student Services would be responsible for leading and managing a large, diverse and cohesive Student Services team for successful implementation and monitoring processes for managing student welfare, health, and mental wellbeing. To be successful in this role, you will ideally work in collaboration with our other Program Coordinators – Student Services, in leading the Student Services team to ensure there is a clear, strategic and sustainable focus on a positive school environment for all students. Operational and strategic leadership across the phases of learning, is highly valued in this role.

High level skills with the management of educationally at-risk students that includes knowledge of effective intervention, monitoring and reporting strategies in accordance with Department policy and guidelines is highly desirable. The successful applicant should display the capacity to work with external agencies and stakeholders.

As a Positive Behaviour Support school (PBS), you would assist in leading tiered interventions for students at educational risk, along with supporting the whole school implementation of PBS and the development of related process, policies and practices. The ability to plan, communicate effectively, build strong teams, work within budget, set and meet deadlines and flexibility to respond to changing situations and challenges are essential.
