We are seeking to establish a pool of Program Coordinator – Leading Teacher – Instructional Leaders for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

As Program Coordinator – Leading Teacher – Instructional Leader, you would work closely with the Principal and leadership team to provide educational leadership across the school and community.

Suitable applicants would lead a Professional Learning Community (PLC) that is proactive, innovative, and supportive, ensuring successful learning outcomes for both students and staff. Ideally, you should apply your deep understanding of contemporary instructional strategies to promote high-impact teaching, student wellbeing, and academic achievement.

Responsibilities would include:

• Leading and sustaining a culture of teaching excellence through evidence-informed practice.
• Promoting and guiding improvement and innovation in instructional strategies.
• Facilitating teacher collaboration and reflective practice to build collective efficacy.
• Using data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Supporting case management of students through effective intervention and monitoring.
• Building team capacity and cohesion to ensure consistent, high-quality learning experiences.
• Modelling leadership for learning by being a lead learner within the school community.

We are seeking innovative and dedicated educational leaders with proven instructional leadership experience and a strong understanding of curriculum and pedagogy. Suitable applicants will ideally display the ability to build positive and productive partnerships with students, staff, families, and the wider community. They should be committed to distributed leadership and adult learning principles, with the capacity to lead strategic initiatives that strengthen professional practice and support whole-school improvement.

Suitable applicants would lead the College's instructional model and support the consistent implementation of agreed teaching and learning practices across their Professional Learning Community.
