About Us

The Insurance Commission of Western Australia is a state-owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to 2.7 million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government. The Insurance Commission is a major self-funded statutory authority at the heart of the Western Australian community.

The Opportunity

We are excited to offer three permanent Product Owner opportunities within our IT Business Partnering function.

These roles play a critical part in shaping the future of digital products and services across the Insurance Commission. Working closely with business stakeholders, customers and delivery teams, you will be accountable for maximising product value, defining product direction and ensuring investment decisions deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

You will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technology teams, developing a deep understanding of business priorities, customer needs and organisational objectives. You will translate these insights into product vision, strategy and roadmaps that drive measurable value and support strategic outcomes.

As a trusted business partner, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, influence priorities, facilitate informed decision-making and ensure products and services continue to meet evolving customer and business needs. You will be responsible for balancing customer expectations, organisational priorities and delivery considerations while maintaining a strong focus on value realisation.

This is an opportunity to help mature product management practices within the organisation, strengthen customer-centric decision making and play a key role in shaping products and services that deliver lasting value for the Insurance Commission and the Western Australian community.

For further information about the role, you can view the attached Job Description Form (JDF) or contact Rob Marchesi on (08) 9264 3315.
