Your Role. Your Impact.

As a Manager Strategic Policy, you will oversee and direct teams to offer strategic guidance and formulate policies, while also spearheading the creation of strategies that foster safe, robust, secure, and inclusive communities in collaboration with our sector partners.

As a Principal Policy Officer, you will offer strategic guidance and engage in advanced policy development, as well as intricate research and analysis concerning the creation of strategies and policies aimed at fostering safe, robust, secure, and inclusive communities. The position also involves leading others through collaboration, sound judgment, and professionalism, thereby contributing to a positive, inclusive, and responsive workplace culture.

How the Talent Register works

The Talent Register may be used to identify potential applicants for:

  • backfilling opportunities of up to 12 months, including acting opportunities, secondments, temporary backfill arrangements and short-term fixed-term appointments.
  • fixed-term opportunities & permanent vacancies using Limited Search as the recruitment method.

Backfilling Opportunities (12 Months or Less)

  • You may be offered the opportunity, depending on the outcome and business needs.

Limited Search Permanent and Fixed-Term Opportunities

A Talent Register may be used to identify potential applicants for permanent and fixed-term opportunities using Limited search recruitment methods.

If a Talent Register is used for this purpose, you may be contacted to confirm your interest and to obtain your consent to be considered as an applicant. Only people who provide consent will progress in the Limited Search recruitment process.

Register duration

This register will remain active for a 6 months duration in total.

After this time:

  • the register will be closed and;
  • you will need to submit a new application if you wish to remain on the new register
