About the Role

Tenure: 2x Permanent, Full Time opportunities.

PoweringWA is driving Western Australia’s energy transition, leading efforts to decarbonise our energy systems while powering the State’s future growth. By working with industry, government and communities, we are accelerating new transmission, generation and storage projects and ensuring the benefits of the transition are shared across the State.

We are seeking two experienced and highly capable Principal Policy and Program Managers to join our team and play a key role in shaping and delivering major renewable energy, decarbonisation and infrastructure priorities. These roles offer the opportunity to work on some of the State's most significant energy initiatives, partnering with government, industry and community stakeholders to help drive lasting economic and environmental outcomes for Western Australia.

Operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will lead the development and delivery of complex policy, regulatory and infrastructure programs, providing strategic advice and evidence-based recommendations to senior executives, Ministers and key decision-makers. You will possess strong analytical thinking, program leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate complexity, influence outcomes and operationalise strategic priorities.

These opportunities are suited to experienced policy, program or infrastructure professionals who enjoy solving complex challenges, leading multidisciplinary work and building productive partnerships across government and industry to achieve strategic objectives. You will bring demonstrated experience delivering significant policy, program and project outcomes, along with the ability to provide strategic advice on complex issues, manage competing priorities and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing workplace culture.

If you are passionate about supporting Western Australia's renewable energy future and want to contribute to projects that will shape the State for generations to come, we encourage you to apply for one of these exciting opportunities with PoweringWA.
