The Public Transport Authority is seeking motivated and customer-focused Passenger Communications Officers to support the delivery of timely, accurate and engaging public transport information to our passengers. In this role, you will assist in developing and distributing customer communications relating to service disruptions, planned changes and key transport initiatives, ensuring customers receive the information they need when they need it.
Working within the Customer Strategy and Communications Branch, you will contribute to communication plans, prepare content across a range of channels, coordinate the distribution of customer information materials and assist with marketing and communications activities. You will also support the management of content across PTA websites and maintain up-to-date disruption information on digital platforms.

About You
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience creating clear, accurate and engaging content for a variety of audiences and communication channels.
- Experience supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of communication, marketing or advertising campaigns.
- Experience managing and updating content using web-based Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Strong written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

There is currently one fixed term opportunity for 12 months with the possibility of renewal and/or permanency. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies on a fixed term or permanent basis that may arise within the next 12 months.

To be eligible to work at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visa until December 2027.
