About the Opportunity
The Nurse Manager (NM) – Patient Flow demonstrates the AKG vision and values, providing leadership and management in relation to patient access and care through coordination of patient flow and patient care services across the organisation to ensure the delivery of safe evidenced based nursing care. The NM is responsible for centralised sourcing, allocation and management of all additional nursing and assistant in nursing resources across the organisation. The NM coordinates, manages and responds to health service emergencies, facilities management. Works closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialist Resuscitation & After Hours to ensure clinical issues are managed and resolved.
This is a Permanent Part Time appointment at 64 hours per fortnight.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other ‘similar’ vacancies within EMHS and/or the wider WA public sector. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
