Perth Zoo is on the lookout for a talented Marketing Coordinator to help grow our brand, inspire our community and support our vital conservation work.
In this role, you'll help deliver creative, data-driven marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, develop engaging campaigns, and collaborate with teams across the Zoo to bring our mission to life.

Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following five (5) essential criteria. These should be addressed in no more than two (2) pages in total.
- Demonstrated recent experience in planning, implementing and delivering effective marketing strategies across paid, owned and earnt media, both traditional and digital, to achieve marketing and business objectives.
- Demonstrated experience generating and applying actionable insights from market research, audience data, campaign results and competitor analysis to inform campaign and content development.
- Demonstrated high-level creative copywriting, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to work autonomously to produce compelling, accurate and effective content; adapt voice, tone and writing style for different audiences; and tailor copy for diverse channels and formats, including websites and landing pages using contemporary SEO and answer-engine optimisation principles, advertising, scripts.
- Highly developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret briefs, present ideas and recommendations clearly, collaborate with creative and subject-matter specialists, and build productive stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders, exercise sound judgment and deliver high quality work to short deadlines in a fast paced environment.
