The Role

The Manager Corporate Services (MCS) is a key member of the school team and plays an important role in the effective operation of the school. The MCS at our school works from the front counter as the first point of contact for families, community members and visitors. The successful applicant will ideally be welcoming, professional and approachable. This is a job share position, the desired applicant will ideally have excellent communication skills.

Part of the role includes having the ability to confidently work across the full range of corporate services responsibilities, from School Officer duties through to the financial, administrative and operational responsibilities of the MCS.

Part of your role may include the following duties:

  • contribute to financial decision-making and school improvement initiatives;
  • manage financial and administrative processes in accordance with Department of Education requirements;
  • provide advice and support to the Principal and leadership team;
  • supervise and support corporate services staff including line management of ancillary staff;
  • maintain effective systems and processes; and
  • build positive relationships with staff, families and the broader community.

About You

We are ideally seeking an organised, capable and collaborative team player with:

  • strong financial management and organisational skills;
  • sound knowledge of the MCS role and Department of Education processes;
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently;
  • strong attention to detail, initiative and sound judgement; and
  • a commitment to providing a professional and responsive service to the school community.

Operational experience with RM Finance, RM Billing, RM Asset Manager, Compass, FlexiPurchase and RAMS is highly advantageous, as is experience with End of Month, End of Calendar Year and Financial Year reporting.

We are looking for someone who will become a valued member of our school team and contribute positively to the effective operation and continued improvement of Bindoon Primary School.
