About the role

The Manager Collections and Warrants is responsible for leading the operational and financial functions of the Fines Enforcement Registry (FER), ensuring the effective recovery of unpaid fines and infringements through legislative enforcement mechanisms, payment arrangements, and alternative sanctions.

The role provides strategic and operational leadership across the Warrant Management, Case Management, Finance, and Payment Arrangement teams, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, accurately, and within established legislative and organisational timeframes. The position is accountable for overseeing financial transaction processing, maximising fine recovery outcomes, managing compliance with relevant legislation and public sector requirements, and supporting continuous service improvement.

As a senior leader within the FER, the Manager Collections and Warrants assists the Registrar in the administration of the Registry and is responsible for workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, staff development, and fostering a high-performing team culture. The role also contributes to stakeholder engagement, risk management, policy implementation, and operational decision-making to support the effective enforcement and recovery of outstanding fines across Western Australia.

Suitability Requirements
