Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
About Us: The System-wide Industrial Relations unit at the Department of Health provides strategic leadership in State-wide industrial and workplace relations matters affecting a workforce of over 50,000 employees across the WA public health system. Our team brings together human resources, workplace relations, industrial relations and legal expertise to deliver high-quality consultancy services and advice across the health system and broader public sector. Your new role: This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals seeking to build their experience in strategic workplace and industrial relations within one of Western Australia's largest and most complex public sector organisations. As an Industrial Relations Officer, you will play a role in enterprise bargaining and industrial negotiations, contribute to the development of industrial agreements and be part of a team representing the WA health system in engagements with unions and industrial tribunals. You will assist in providing high-quality strategic advice and consultancy services, including researching and analysing complex State-wide industrial and workplace matters, to ensure employment conditions are applied consistently and in accordance with industrial instruments, legislation and public sector policies. Working under direction and with stakeholders across the WA health system and government, you will contribute to the delivery of State-wide projects and reform initiatives that support Government priorities and strengthen workforce outcomes.
