The Role

This role includes actively contributing to the wellbeing of students, staff, and volunteers by providing first aid as needed, in compliance with relevant Occupational Safety and Health Legislation. The successful applicant would play a key role in the planning, implementation, promotion, and evaluation of the school's health and wellbeing programs and frameworks. They will assist in developing strategies to reduce the risk of injury and harm.

In addition, the successful applicant would provide guidance to school staff on Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) matters. This includes maintaining accurate records related to injury, illness, incidents, accidents, and hazards, as well as conducting analysis of data and identifying trends. Excellent communication skills are vital, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively to achieve positive outcomes.

4. Demonstrated well developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels and in emergency situations.
5. Demonstrated well developed computer application skills, including a working knowledge of word processing and development and maintenance of databases and spreadsheets.
