Position Profile: Responsible for the management of a high-quality engineering and maintenance service for WACHS, which is effective, cost efficient, compliant with legislation and meets the needs of clients.
This is a Permanent Full Time appointment.
Area Profile: The Goldfields region of the WA Country Health Service covers the Goldfields-Esperance Region of Western Australia. The region is located in the south eastern corner of Western Australia and covers 770,488 sq km (including offshore islands). The WA Country Health Service Goldfields consists of two main health campuses located in Kalgoorlie & Esperance, and three smaller hospitals located in Laverton, Leonora and Norseman.

Leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary services
Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary maintenance and engineering teams to deliver reliable, client-focused services across multiple sites, while effectively managing operational priorities, workforce performance and service outcomes. -
Facilities and asset management capability
Demonstrated capability to manage healthcare or similarly complex facilities and physical assets through effective maintenance planning, use of asset management systems, risk identification and continuous improvement to support safe and sustainable service delivery. -
Stakeholder engagement and influence
Highly developed ability to build productive relationships, communicate effectively and influence stakeholders, contractors and service providers to achieve operational objectives and deliver quality outcomes in a complex environment. -
Contract and procurement management
Demonstrated experience managing contracts, procurement activities and external service providers, ensuring resources are utilised effectively and services are delivered in accordance with organisational, commercial and legislative requirements. - Governance, compliance and inclusive service deliveryDemonstrated commitment to governance, safety and inclusive service delivery, with the ability to apply relevant legislation, standards and policies to support equitable access to services, workforce wellbeing and compliance across regional healthcare facilities.
