We are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, and driven individuals to appoint to Executive Assistant positions working in the Office of the Chief Executive. Both permanent and fixed-term positions are on offer, working both full-time and part-time hours. Fixed-term appointments will have the option of extension and/or permanency. About the Role:

The Executive Assistant is a key member of the Executive Director’s office, providing high-level executive and administrative support in a busy and confidential environment. Acting as a central point of coordination, the role manages schedules, meetings, correspondence and office activities, as well as providing secretariat support for committees and working groups. The Executive Assistant works collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure the Executive Director is well informed, prepared and supported in meeting their commitments and responsibilities.

Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to;

  • Manages the Executive Director’s calendar, appointments and meetings to ensure commitments and activities are effectively coordinated.
  • Provides secretariat support for meetings including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute taking, and action item tracking.
  • Provides administrative and coordination support to the Executive Director and their teams.
  • Provides reception services including welcoming visitors, managing phone calls, and directing queries to the appropriate area.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other ‘similar’ vacancies within EMHS and/or the wider WA public sector.
