Kingston Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
At Kingston PS, our mission is simple yet powerful: to prepare every student for life success by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and character to thrive, contribute positively to society, and pursue excellence in all they do.
We are committed to excellence in teaching and learning and maintain high expectations for both our students and ourselves. Our whole-school approaches to literacy, numeracy, and character development, underpinned by the Virtues and Resilience Project, ensure every child is supported to achieve their personal best. Our core values of Care, Courage, Respect, and Excellence guide our decisions, actions, and relationships every day.
At Kingston PS, we believe that supporting students is everyone's responsibility. Our staff work collaboratively to provide a strong wraparound approach that promotes wellbeing, engagement, belonging, and academic success for every child.
Complementing this whole-school approach is our dedicated Student Support Services Team, which provides specialised support for students requiring additional interventions. Working alongside teachers, education assistants, families, and external agencies, the team helps ensure students receive the support they need to thrive.
Located just 150km south of Perth in the growing coastal community of Australind, Kingston PS is an Independent Public School catering for approximately 600 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
We are seeking Education Assistants who share our commitment to student success, value strong relationships, display flexibility and adaptability, and thrive in a collaborative and dynamic school environment.

Suitable applicants will ideally possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, families, and external agencies. They should contribute positively to the school's values, culture, and priorities and be committed to fostering an environment of high expectations, inclusion, and student success. Compassion, initiative, and the ability to effectively implement documented plans are highly regarded.
Suitable applicants should possess the ability to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships with students, colleagues, and families. They should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, displaying flexibility and adaptability in response to changing student and school needs.
