We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Glencoe Primary School (PS), situated in Halls Head, Mandurah, was established in 1981. Over its 40+ year history, Glencoe PS has built a strong reputation within the school community for its dedicated and committed team, outstanding levels of pastoral care, and close links with families and community groups.

The Positive Behaviour Schools (PBS) philosophy underpins our approach to managing student behaviour, which includes both preventative and restorative practices. Positive behaviour, and indeed, kindness and inclusivity, are cornerstones of the school culture at Glencoe PS.

Our school grounds are attractive, featuring well-kept gardens and highly practical teaching and learning spaces. The school has a well-resourced library, purpose-built, dedicated Science and Computer laboratories, Art Room, Music Room, two under-covered areas, a school canteen, vegetable gardens, and nature playgrounds. There are also extensive grassed play areas, hard courts, and a range of contemporary play facilities.

At Glencoe PS, we promote an enabling environment for our staff, which supports personal and professional growth, and offers a wide range of leadership opportunities. Our people are our greatest asset.
