We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principals for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

As Deputy Principal at Burns Beach PS, suitable applicants will work closely with the Principal and Executive Team to provide strong educational leadership across the school. They will ideally help bring our school vision, values and strategic priorities to life, building shared ownership amongst staff and contributing to a culture of high expectations, collaboration and continuous improvement.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring individuals who can move confidently between strategic leadership and the day-to-day realities of a busy school. Ideally, suitable applicants will lead and support staff, contribute to workforce planning and performance, strengthen teaching and learning, support student and staff wellbeing, and ensure effective administrative and operational systems are in place.

We are ideally seeking exceptional communicators who builds genuine relationships, exercises sound judgement and brings initiative, energy and a strong sense of collective responsibility to the role. The desired applicants will be someone who can lead with clarity, work collaboratively, tackle the complex as well as the everyday, and contribute positively to the continued growth and success of Burns Beach Primary School.
