The Role

We are seeking a Deputy Principal who will lead with care, purpose and a strong commitment to student success.

The Deputy Principal will lead the middle and upper primary team and will work collaboratively with the Principal, Deputy Principals, staff, students and the community to lead school improvement and sustain a culture of excellence. We are seeking a leader who values innovation and demonstrates a commitment to the implementation of our strategic focus. Our new Business Plan 2027-2029 will be built around the key priority areas of Learning, Engagement and Well-being as we build connected and tiered approaches to maximise student learning.

The Deputy Principal would also focus on the following aspects as part of our Learning, Engagement and Well-being priorities:

  • As part of the leadership team, lead the implementation of quality differentiated teaching practice to support effective universal practice
  • Embed an evidence based tiered systems of support that consider and connect the well-being, engagement and learning needs of students.
  • Identifies, plans and implements targeted and strategic supports that are informed by data and evidence.
  • Builds capacity of school staff to better plan for and respond to the diverse needs of students.

Overall, the Deputy Principal should be an influential educational leader who combines strategic thinking with effective implementation, builds the capability of others and contributes positively to a culture of optimism, resilience, continuous improvement and sustained excellence.
