WHERE DATA INTEGRITY SUPPORTS EXCEPTIONAL PATIENT CARE

This is a Fixed-term Full Time appointment at 1.0 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) for 12 months, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Part-time appointments will be considered.

Position Profile: We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated applicant to join our Outpatient Department as a Data Integrity Officer.

This position is responsible for the analysis, reporting and maintenance of outpatient data integrity within the Patient Administration System (PAS) and other electronic patient management systems at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). Some of the responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Providing oversight of outpatient data integrity, by maintaining the continuity and processing of outpatient appointments though auditing, analysis of information and rectification of inaccuracies.
  • Ensuring integrity of data by checking reports, dashboards and correct erroneous data and providing feedback to staff responsible for data entry.
  • Participating in the review of outpatient clerical services provided at PCH and contributing to improvements in process and procedure, including conducting training and development of outpatient clerical staff.
