This is a permanent, full time vacancy.
About the role
The Coordinator Logistics is responsible for leading and overseeing the acquisition, supply, warehousing, maintenance and repair of specialist security and response equipment used by the Sheriff’s Office across Western Australia.
This critical role ensures that operational personnel have access to reliable, fit-for-purpose equipment that meets relevant legislative, regulatory and industry standards. Through effective asset and logistics management, the Coordinator Logistics maintains a constant state of operational readiness, supporting the Sheriff’s Office to deliver essential services across metropolitan and regional locations.
The position plays a key role in planning and coordinating logistics activities, managing equipment lifecycles, monitoring compliance requirements and driving continuous improvements to inventory and supply chain processes.
In addition to core logistics responsibilities, the Coordinator Logistics contributes to the Sheriff’s Office emergency management capability and may be required to participate in emergency response structures supporting courts and tribunals across Western Australia during critical incidents or emergency situations.
The Sheriff’s Office of Western Australia plays a vital role in supporting the justice system and community safety across the State. Our responsibilities include:
- Enforcing civil court orders;
- Enforcing fines, penalties and infringement notices;
- Serving witness summonses on behalf of the State;
- Delivering court and tribunal security and custodial services; and
- Managing jury services across Western Australia.
Suitability Requirements
Through the recruitment process, we will be looking for a candidate who can demonstrate skills, experience and attributes in relation to the following:
Shapes and Manages Strategy - Experience in logistics, inventory, asset, or supply chain management. Knowledge of procurement, compliance, and equipment management processes.
Achieves Results - Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Builds Productive Relationships - The ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Special requirements - It is a requirement of the position holder to hold a valid driver’s licence.
