About the job

1x 12 month Full Time Fixed Term contract with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for a Project Officer to expedite service delivery in the Responsible Gambling (internally referred to as Player Safety) function, and to support preparation of our submission to retain WLA Responsible Gambling Level 4 Accreditation (due May 2027).

Reporting to the Senior Player Safety Lead, this role is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to enable the delivery of critical gambling harm minimisation strategic priorities. The role has the following key areas of focus:

  • Project Management
  • Research and Evaluation
  • Monitoring & Reporting
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
  • Governance & Compliance
  • Continual Improvement

We’re looking for

  • A project officer with exposure to public health, health promotion, behaviour change and/or harm minimisation would be ideal
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Experience in project/program delivery including planning, design, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
