This is a Permanent, Full-Time Position working 76 hours per fortnight. This position is based at the Royal Perth Hospital.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to appoint to an Aboriginal Mental Health Worker position. The Aboriginal Mental Health Worker provides a social support service and provide accessibility of community mental health and inpatient services to Aboriginal people in the Perth metropolitan area. This role provides support and cultural expertise to the Wungen Kartup multi-disciplinary team, and is an integral part of the culturally secure services provided by Wungen Kartup. In this position, the successful applicant will maintain a caseload of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
