Are you an experienced and passionate rural and remote nurse looking to make a genuine difference in Aboriginal health and community wellbeing?
We are seeking two dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) to lead the delivery and coordination of high-quality primary health care services for the remote community of Burringurrah, located in the heart of the Gascoyne region. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work autonomously while building strong relationships with community members and partner organisations to provide culturally secure, person-centred care.
As the CNS, you will be responsible for delivering a broad scope of nursing services, including emergency care, chronic disease management, child health services, immunisation programs, health promotion, and community education. You will play a pivotal role in improving health outcomes through clinical leadership, care coordination, and a commitment to culturally responsive practice.
This is a unique opportunity to experience the challenges and rewards of remote nursing while contributing to the health and wellbeing of one of Western Australia’s remote Aboriginal communities.
