Are you an experienced Public Health Nurse ready to take the lead in protecting and improving community health across one of Australia's most unique and diverse regions?

WA Country Health Service is seeking a highly capable Clinical Nurse Manager - Public Health to join our Pilbara Population Health team. In this influential role, you will help drive regional public health programs, provide expert clinical leadership, support disease prevention and control activities, and work collaboratively with communities and stakeholders to improve health outcomes across the Pilbara.

About the Role

Reporting to the Coordinator of Nursing - Public Health, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting regional programs focused on communicable and non-communicable disease prevention and control. You will provide specialist public health nursing advice, contribute to outbreak management activities, support health promotion initiatives, and play a key role in planning, implementing and evaluating public health programs across the region.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating disease screening, surveillance and control programs.
• Providing expert public health advice to health professionals, community organisations and the public.
• Supporting the management of communicable disease notifications and outbreak responses.
• Leading and contributing to regional public health projects and strategies.
• Driving quality improvement, reporting and program evaluation activities.
• Supporting workforce development through education, mentoring and professional guidance.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve community health outcomes.
