About the Position

The Chief Finance Officer provides strategic leadership for the delivery of Corporate Services, including end to end financial management of the health service.  

The role has oversight with respect to financing, budgeting, forecasting, cost benefit analysis and business performance. As a member of the health service executive, the role works collaboratively to meet operational, financial and workforce requirements, supporting the achievement of organisational objectives and performance targets. The position also plays a key role in whole of health decision making as part of the Child and Adolescent Health Service Executive.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration within an executive leadership team, a proactive approach to risk management, and the capability to deliver on both strategic objectives and operational goals. You will also have the required skills to successfully operate within an Activity Based Funding/Management environment.

• Senior level executive experience in leading organisational strategy on relevant clinical and workforce matters, clinical governance and service innovation.
