About the Role
The Venue Officer undertakes the setup, pull down and presentation of operational areas for venue bookings, events and functions, ensuring safe and quality customer experiences whilst optimising venue usage. The role requires a high level of physical activity and flexibility, with employees expected to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, in line with business and event requirements. Modifications could be considered on a case-by-case basis.
This recruitment process is being utilised to fill 4 casual positions based at Perth High Performance Centre, Mount Claremont and at Arena Joondalup. The role may require mobility between VenuesWest facilities. The working hours are based on event and operational requirements.
This recruitment process may also be used to fill other causal vacancies within the Venue Operations team.
Due to the nature of the work undertaken, this position may be assisting the first responder to incidents and therefore may be exposed to stressful situations and events in the workplace . VenuesWest is committed to proactively ensuring the psychosocial safety and health of our workers through risk control and provision of services to support workers exposed to and impacted by traumatic events.
