About the Role
RAC Arena is seeking Casual Front of House Team Leaders & Supervisors to join our Event Operations team!
Reporting to the Event Coordinators and Front of House Senior Supervisors, the operations team leaders and supervisors support the Senior Supervisor by overseeing Ushering staff during events, ensuring high standards of customer service and the safe, efficient delivery of front-of house operations.
The pay rate for this position is $44.88 - $50.29 per hour (including casual loading), VenuesWest General Agreement Level 4 - 5. Hours of work will vary depending on event requirements, however outside normal work hours, weekend work and overnight work will be an expectation for some shifts.
Whilst the position will be based at RAC Arena in Perth, mobility may be required between the portfolio of facilities.
In this role, you will
- Coordinate and delivers event briefings for FOH Supervisors and staff, ensuring all event requirements provided by the Event Coordinator are clearly communicated.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for FOH usher during events, providing guidance and support to resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Liaises with the Event Coordinator and Senior Supervisor throughout events.
- Liaises with internal departments during events, including catering, technical operations, cleaning, security and ticketing, to support coordinated event delivery.
- Manages staff performance issues, and documents incidents where staff do not comply with VenuesWest policies or procedures.
- Conducts post-event debriefs with FOH Supervisors and Team Leaders to gather feedback and identify operational, damage or maintenance issues.
- Coordinates the completion of post-event documentation, including FOH post-event reports and staff timesheets.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for patron complaints, managing issues escalated by ushers in consultation with the Event Coordinator or Senior Supervisor.
- Ensures compliance with organisational policies and procedures, representing the best interests of the venue and the event promoter at all times during events.
