This is a permanent full time vacancy, available for immediate filling.
About the role
The Business Support Officer provides a broad range of high-level administrative, research, project, information management, financial and human resource support services to the Sheriff’s Office of Western Australia.
The Sheriff’s Office of Western Australia plays a vital role in supporting the justice system and community safety across the State. Our responsibilities include:
- Enforcing civil court orders
- Enforcing fines, penalties and infringement notices
- Serving witness summonses on behalf of the State
- Delivering court and tribunal security and custodial services
- Managing jury services across Western Australia.
Key responsibilities include preparing, proofreading and coordinating high-quality correspondence and reports, undertaking research and analysis, supporting projects and business improvement activities, and delivering professional secretariat services to a range of internal committees and working groups.
